Braulio teaches one of his favorite escapes, the bridge and roll (upa) escape vs mount. It is the first one he, along with most jiu-jitsu practitioners learned when starting BJJ. However, he explains the importance of not going straight for the escape, but rather, waiting for the right opportunity to use it and using it in conjunction with other techniques and strategies.
