Forearm Shield from Half Guard, Deep Half Guard Entry, Waiter Sweep from Deep Half — Part 2/5
Braulio talks about the importance of using your forearm(s) to shield yourself while playing half guard so your opponent can't easily put their weight on you or control your head and put you on your back. He attacks the ankle trap sweep as shown in
Part 1 and when they defend, he transitions to deep half guard. From the deep half, he demonstrates the waiter sweep. He also shows how you can immediately attack the dogbar kneebar directly following the sweep.
