Braulio shows how to transition from de la riva guard to koala guard (sitting with single leg control). From koala guard, he immediately transfers the far sleeve grip he has from his right to his left hand, between his opponent's legs, and grabs their collar before attacking with the dump sweep. He explains that he prefers to land in the folding pass control, rather than pass immediately to side control so he can avoid his opponent inverting and attacking the omoplata.
