Braulio continues his lesson on transitioning from spider guard to x guard. He also shows what to do when your opponent bases widely to defend against an initial dump sweep attack. He explains how this is a perfect time to take them backward using the unbalance sweep, as basing out so widely has created a vulnerability in their base. Another option available, which Braulio demonstrates, is the ball and chain sweep. For this sweep, he pummels under the legs and stands up from behind while maintaining his far side sleeve grip between his partners legs.
