Braulio continues his lesson on maintaining mount and defending against the elbow escape. He dives into detail on how to react when an opponent manages to get to their side and effectively push your knee. He explains that it is better to allow your knee to open while focusing on keeping your foot tight than to resist opening your knee which naturally loosens your foot and increases the odds of it being trapped and your opponent regaining half guard.
